The purpose of the prayer bowl is to allow family, friends, and small groups to disconnect from the world prior to spending quality time together at dinner or for prayer. We have enclosed a pad of paper and a pen for you to write down anything you want to give to God at that moment. As a group you can decide if each prayer should be read aloud, or if you want your prayer to remain private and to instead pray over your folded request.
The bowls are flawed, just as we are as people. Many have cracks, gashes and imperfections. The bowls still have a purpose for our lives even if they do not hold water or candle wax. The bowls can hold cell phones at dinner time, jewelry, change or keys if you chose not to utilize them as a prayer bowl.
